About CryptoWalletGuide

Clear, independent explanations for anyone who wants to understand crypto before using it.

Our mission

Crypto is full of jargon, fast-changing products and, unfortunately, scams. Most losses come not from price swings but from simple mistakes: sending on the wrong network, trusting a fake app or sharing a recovery phrase. CryptoWalletGuide exists to explain the basics in plain English so fewer people make those mistakes.

What we cover

  • Tokens: what the major coins and tokens are and how they are used.
  • Networks: the blockchains and layer 2s, their address formats and their quirks.
  • Wallets: hardware and software wallets, with honest pros and cons.
  • Exchanges: centralized and decentralized exchanges and how to pick one safely.
  • Glossary: short definitions of common crypto terms.

Our principles

  • Education, not advice. We explain how things work. We don't tell you what to buy, and we don't make price predictions.
  • No affiliate links. We don't link to wallets or exchanges and don't earn commissions from them. The site is supported by display advertising.
  • Balanced information. Every product has trade-offs, and we try to show both sides, including past security incidents.
  • Corrections welcome. Crypto changes quickly. If something is outdated or wrong, please let us know and we will review it.
